PMMA Fiber Optic, also known as Plastic optical fiber (POF) ,Polymer Optical Fibre, is an optical fiber that is made of polymer. Similar to glass optical fiber, POF transmits light (for fiber optic lighting or data transmission) through the fiber core. Compared with traditional fiber optics, PMMA fiber optic has better bending radius and stretching.
Our solid core side emitting fiber cable has two types: solid core side glow fiber and solid core side glow cable. It is a single large diameter filament which can transmit light over reasonably long distances. Light is transmitted over the entire length of the solid core optic, without electricity or heat. By sheathing with transparent PVC cover, the fiber can be well protected and UV protection function is available.
Solid Core Fiber Cable Applications: The solid core fiber and cable are mainly Sauna/Spa lighting, Swimming Pool Lighting, starry ceiling lighting, holiday lighting, Limo Lighting and any other places you can imagine.
