Dental curing light tips are used to change the length, curve or tip size of a dental curing light. These interchangeable tips make it easy to turn your existing curing light into one more readily able to reach teeth in the back of a patients mouth or cure larger sized restorations. These tips are often fiber optic material allowing the light beam from the curing light to travel through the tip without loss of light energy. Most curing light tips are designed for use with a specific dental curing light, so be sure to purchase tips that match the light you already use. We manufacture all kinds of curing light tips. Please send inquiry with drawings or sizes for details of cost.
Light guide rod is made by heating and melting a bundle of optic fibers in parallel, protected by a tube made of dark glass to prevent light leakage. The rod can be used both for light conduction and for image transmission. It can be bent to a desired angle under heat. The rod can be drawn to a tapered rod, with aperture angle changed to reduce the scattering angle of light rays and increase light intensity for illumination. Special type rods are usually custom-made with different terminal shape, ending angle or/and special apparence.
Light conducting element for dental light curing unit. Light conducting element for medical treatment by semi-conducting laser. Image transmitting element with low resolution. Fiber taper to raise luminous intensity.
